Defending Daddy

Now all of you that know me know that I am not stubborn as was previously posted.(wink,wink). Okay, anyway, I was praying last night between the hours of 11 and 1 o'clock as well as working on writing a prayer for Baby Reagan that I will post later today. Little did I know that Reagan had pulled out her oxygen tube and had been put on the machine that makes her do a lot more on her own. I was praying that God would give her lungs special strength and, little did I know, that as I was praying, God was giving her incredible strength with her lungs! God is answering your prayers as well as mine! On a human level, it would have been hard for her to get on the CPAP machine, but nothing is too great for our God!!! I remembered a song from my children's church days as I was thinking about God's strength the other day and it is reverberating in my head today..."My God is so BIG, so STRONG and so MIGHTY there's nothing my God cannot do." I love Him today for hearing a humbled father's plea for supernatural help! A lot of you have been encouraging Amy and I by telling us how wonderful we are handling this situation. I appreciate the kind accolades (and you are welcome to keep sending them), but I really want to let them flow through directly to God as He is the one that is getting us through this. For those of you that know me, I can get worked up pretty quickly (no comments please :) ) but God has given me a "peace that passes understanding." All glory and honor and praise goes directly to Him! God bless you all and have a great Friday!!! I will probably post an update again later this afternoon. Love to all!

Robert and Amy

P.S. Go Reagan, Go!!!

AND A LITTLE CHILD SHALL LEAD THEM ...
Somehow these words are as true today as when they were spoken by a prophet thousands of years ago!
Robert and Amy, your humbled plea for supernatural help is the very cry that is commanding the attention of our Almighty God.
Baby Reagan's Mommy and Daddy are to be commended (accolades are indeed in order!) for choosing to give "all honor and glory and praise directly to Him."
Go Baby Reagan!
Go Mommy!
Go Daddy!

Today people say there are no miracles, well they must not know the God I know.
He has worked so many miracles in my life and now to see the miracles He is working in Reagan's life, almost unbelievable..
Remember what Jesus said.

And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
Matthew 21:22

Enough said !!!
We love you Reagan, Amy and Robert and pray for you daily....

Robert,
Thanks for keeping us all updated, and I must say you are doing an excellent job at staying so calm :)It sounds like Reagan is being as stubborn as both her parents are. I am continued to be amazed by the miracle happening every day in your little girl. It reminds me of the lessons we all have to learn about simple faith that are so easy to forget. Love to you all,
Dana

Amy, I am praying for you, Robert and especially Reagan. I am so inspired by your strength and your strength of faith. The Bible teaches us in Matthew 21:22 "If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer".
You are a shining example of what kind of faith in God we all need, and should have. May God continue to hold Reagan in His healing hands, and may He continue to work through you and your husband to inspire others and to use you both as an amazing testimony of just how GREAT and MIGHTY our God is!

Footprints in the Sand

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.

In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there was one only.

This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints, so I said to the Lord,

“You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?”

The Lord replied, “The years when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you.”

Robert and Amy,

I am one of Jess's friends, and I just wanted to let you know that I have been praying for you and your precious little girl. I sent Jess' original email on to several of my friends who have also been praying for you as well! God is the ultimate healer, and can do anything! I know this personally as I was healed from Cancer 18 months ago! I leave you with one of my favorite verses. Philippians 4:6-7 "Don't be anxious for anything but through prayer and supplication make your requests know to God, and the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds forever."

IN our LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST!

Amy and Robert,
Reagan is GORGEOUS! Your entire family are in our prayers every day. Amy, I know it is hard to be Mom and not nurse, but try to stay as positive as you can. God will get you past this. Stay strong and if you need anything just say it. Love to all!
