Dear Friends and Family,
Thanks so much for all the encouraging notes. Baby Reagan gave us a scare today. She had some fluid around her heart that the Doctors removed early this morning. Due to the severity of this if it should recur the doctors decided it was best to transport Reagan to Baptist Children's Hospital where a heart specialist could watch her. The transport team said Reagan enjoyed her ambulance ride but she is under strict orders to not stress her mom and dad again. Please continue to keep her in your prayers. The doctors all say she is doing great especially for her age and size.
Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers!
Love,
Amy

I am a friend of Barb Bindewald, and my 6-year-old was about the same size as Reagan at birth, 1 lb 7 oz. (but a bit longer gestation--we just made it to 27 weeks). I know the ups and downs of the NICU well! My Lydia was released from the hospital 4 days after her due date, and she now sports glasses as her only residual effect of prematurity. I'll be praying for a similar path for your little one!

We've passed on your requests to a bunch of "prayer warriors" here in Michigan. God is in control! Your little girl is beautiful! We will continue to lift you guys up constantly! Hello Miss Reagan Olivia Winslow! I say a prayer for you & your family each day and send you warm healing energy to help you grow.

My mother used to tell a story about her weighing only 2 lbs at birth & she was born at home too! She used to say they carried her on a pillow because she was so tiny. Just so you'll know...my mother lived to the wonderful age of 93 & never had any lung problems!

It's coming up on Springtime which is time for growth, so grow, grow, grow little sweet one.

We love you lots and hold you in God's Light and Love.

Lou

Sometimes I wonder why God allows things like this to happen, especially to such wonderful people like you, BUT I do know that He sees the "whole picture" and we only see the "here and now". I believe with all of my heart that great things are going to come out of all this! I pray for each of you everytime you come to my mind. Believe me, that is often! :) If you all need ANYTHING, please let us know! Lots of love, Matt and Judith

I finally got to meet Reagan on 3/6/08. She is so incredible small. The pictures just don't do her justice because she is so beautiful. I could just stand there and watch her for hours but it wouldn't be fair to the rest of the family waiting to see her. The Lord willing Michelle and I will be having a new baby girl (Molly) around April 22nd. It is hard to imagine that Molly is about four time the size of Reagan. I can't wait to watch them grow up together but for now I'll just keep praying that God will keep His hand of protection on little Reagan and know that "God's clocks keep perfect time".

She is absolutely beautiful, Amy. I pray that God nestles all of you in his arms during these trying times.
