Reagan Makes the News!

Dear Friends,
Fox 8 news called us today and wanted to do a story about Reagan! We nervously agreed as we felt it would be a great way to give God glory for all He has done for us. If you did not see the news, you can highlight and copy the link below and paste it into your web browser to see Reagan on TV. Make sure to see the extra footage that was not shown. Thanks to Fox 8 for allowing us to share our faith on television. Praise God for a platform to exalt His name!

Robert, Amy, and Reagan

Hey guys yall dont know me but I seen yall's story on the new and I and my family know what yall are going through and we are keeping yall in our prayers. I myself just recently gave birth to a 1LB 7OZ daughter back in June of 2007 and our daughter is now 10 months old and belive me, we know what yall are going through, because Brian (our daughter) spent 3 months and 3 days at Forsyth Hosp. and trust me, the good Lord above is always wonderfull and knows how to work his magic. I do know this much... when times do get rough all ya have to do is pray. If yall would like to see some pics of Briana of when she was born and the up 2 date ones of now then yall are more than welcome to, so that way u can see that ur not the only ones going through this and that yall are in our prayers. By the way my name is Misty and I also live in Davidson County!

Just wanted to say you are in all our prayers and go Reagan for recovering from her pda surgery so fast!! She is obviously a smart and strong little girl. I will continue to stop by and check on her progress.

I saw your story on the news last night. My husband and I also have a preemie baby. When I saw everything that you have been through and continue to experience, it brought back so many memories and emotions for me. All I could do is cry. It is such an undescribable feeling to have a child in the NICU. We have had Hagen home for almost two months now.....he's truly a miracle and blessing from Above. Hang in there.....she will come home!! There's nothing like it in the world. I believe after experiencing something like this with your child, you appreciate them like no parents ever could. Every cry, expression, movement, even when they eat......you are thankful for every second of it. Because you realize that it's a gift; things that others might take for granted are the things that light up a day and mean the differece in the lives of preemies. May God continously keep you both and Reagan in his watchful hands and give you peace that passes all understanding each and every day. Anna annawelch@northstate.net

My wife and I saw your story on Fox 8. Not that long ago we were in the PICU with our son, Jacob. Jacob went on to be with the Lord this past January. It was such a blessing to see you on the news giving God the praise and glory. We have tried our best to praise God through our trial and we certainly fail Him because we all fall short of the glory of God.

I just wanted to let you know that we will be praying for you and for Reagan. God's precious hand is on you, as He promises.

If you would like you can visit our son's page at www.carepages.com, just search for JRHONAKER.

God bless you and contact us if you need to talk.

Sincerely,

Chad and Amber Honaker

Amy, Robert, and Reagan,

Thank you for sharing the link to the Fox 8 story. It was amazing to see the three of you. Pictures just don't do her justice - she is amazing in every way. I enjoyed seeing her move around.

And, hearing you guys talk about everything was wonderful. I know that your story will inspire others and my prayer is that others will come to know God through Reagan. Wow! She is changing lives already.

Keeping you in my prayers.

Robert & Amy,
I had preemie twins in November, so I understand some of what you are going through.
Concerning your worries about the medical bills -- I am a bankruptcy attorney in the Triad. Do not stress yourselves over financial matters now, but once you get Reagan home and things settle down, I would be more than happy to discuss possible options for handling your medical bills. Pro bono, of course.
If you ever want to discuss any related concerns, please email me at kescott76@yahoo.com.
